Welcome to Eliza Illustrated!

I'm Eliza, a queer, progressive illustrator, painter, and printmaker based in Portland, Oregon. Together with my partners and our blended kitty family, I've made this eclectic city my home, finding inspiration in its stunning architecture and the beautiful natural wonders that surround it.

Ever since I was a kid with crayons in hand…

The Landmarks Collection began as an homage to my new home city after moving to Portland in 2021, and has continued to grow an exploration into the rich tapestry of Oregon and the greater Pacific Northwest.

Inspired by classic travel posters and the spirit of Works Progress Administration posters, each piece in the Landmarks Collection is a fusion of timeless design and a contemporary perspective, capturing the essence of the Pacific Northwest.

As an avid traveler with a passion for storytelling, I've embarked on this visual journey through some of the region's most iconic landmarks. From the iconic bridges that span the Willamette River to historic theaters steeped in cultural history, each illustration is a love letter to the unique charm of Portland, and beyond.

See Palestine Free Palestine

The style of my illustrative art is heavily inspired by vintage travel posters and classic propaganda art. Wish those influences in mind, I created this piece envisioning a free Palestine, featuring olive trees and poppy flowers, oranges, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
